Okay I guess it is fair to say that I have baby fever, well maybe not baby fever cause technically I still have a baby, but pregnancy fever. What is wrong with me?!?! Storie is going on 7 months and I want to be pregnant again so badly it's ridiculous!
I can't help it though, call me crazy, but I LOVE being pregnant. love Love LOVE it! I love everything about it:
missing your first period
getting butterflies waiting for the lines to show up
dancing around with the positive stick in your hand
looking up names
hearing the heartbeat
having your stomach grow
finding out the sex
feeling the kicks, rolls, and hiccups
getting anxious for labor
going into labor
and than having this beautiful baby to hold forever.
It's all amazing, I am going to say this is one of God's greatest inventions! How a baby grows in a mother's stomach and is born, it's so awesome, it's crazy!
I have always wanted to be a mother. ALWAYS. Everyone is school would say lawyer, doctor, teacher, not me I never wanted to be anything other than a mom. I LOVE what I do. Here recently my good friend Jenny just graduated college, as did a lot of other people I went to HS with, but it has not bothered me in the slightest that I could have been there graduating right along with them. I'm so happy for them, but I feel like I have been blessed with so much more!
If Jake would let me, I would love to have 5 children, but he won't so I'll have to settle for having one more.....maybe it'll be twins. :D
anyways....everywhere I look there is pregnant ladies, huge bellies, bellies that are just starting to grow. It makes me insanely jealous! Maybe I should really look into becoming a surrogate.
anyways...a lot has happened since my last post. Storie is crawling, sitting up from crawling position, sitting unassisted, and we started cereal yesterday for the first time. I'll post pictures eventually. Tonight we are trying peas!! woohoo! We went home to watch Hannah graduate HS. I can not believe that we have all graduated, seems so unreal. We're all adults now. crazy. I'll have to post pictures from home too. Other than that, same ole same ole. It's already June! It has gone by so fast! Where is all this time going.......
girls night this saturday! woop woop. gotta mention that to Jake still. ;)

My First Time
well not me, but for Miss Storie: Here is some of her very 'firsts' ever! I can't believe she is getting so big. She will be 5 months old already! Man, how the time has flown by...
in her activity bouncer
Finally grabbing her toes! I've been waiting for this one!and my big boy going pee pee in his potty. We've been working on potty training for awhile, just kinda been taking it slow and going with whatever. But for the past few days he's been wanting to wear his 'big boy undies' and he's actually been going potty in the chair all on his own! He's really doing great, and growing up so fast too.

new Diego undies....thanks nanaand our new recliner! I love it!!

Ear Piercing!
April 6, 2010- we took Storie to get her ears pierced. I'm pretty sure I was more nervous than she would have been. We got her in there, tricked daddy into holding her and pierced them two at a time. She did WONDERFUL. She hardly cried at all. They're little gold pearls, too cute. She looks so grown up now. Part of me loves them, and part of me wishes she was still perfect the way she came out. They really are adorable though!

San Diego Mud Run
wow [March 21, 2010].... Kari, Jamie, and myself ran a 5k (3 miles) it was rough, but oh so much fun! It was exactly what it was called, a mud run. We ran through so many mud pits, over bales of hay and dividers, swam through tunnels of muddy water, waded through mud up to our hips. It was so tiring, but we all had a blast. We can not wait to run it again in October!! Here is some pictures from the run!
Got our numbers!
egg coloring
Today we met outside with the neighbors: Nick, Mykael, & Emilia. We colored easter eggs and the kids ran around and played. This is the first time I've colored eggs since I was little. It sure was fun! Daddy made a green 'egg' Tyler made a red sports ball egg, Storie's was a purple egg with flower and bug stickers, and mommas egg was a teal with squiggles on it.
Family photo: dying easter eggs.

earthquake 4/4/10
Well like I mentioned in the last post, we had an earthquake on Easter. I guess it was about 3 or 4pm something like that...
Tyler & I were on the computer and daddy & Storie were watching tv when everything started shaking. The dining room table started moving and all the pictures and glass were rattling. We just looked at each other like 'what do we do....' We got the kids and went to the bathroom. I'm not exactly sure why, but Jake thought it was a good idea. :0 haha.
It felt like a long time...maybe a minute or two than it stopped. I definetly googled 'what to do in an earthquake' and now we know to get under the table or something sturdy and to STAY INSIDE! Hopefully we don't get anymore out here anytime soon. The news said the epicenter was in baja CA which is in Mexico (the little peninsula) and they said it was a 7.2 so pretty big!
